Saturday fun!

We left our house Saturday morning at 8:30 and I think we might have been home a total of 30 minutes the entire day in between everything we had going on.  We started the day by going to Brayden's football game.  It was the first one we have been able to attend so far this season.  Brayden "the beast" Gilley was on top of his game and we had a great time cheering him on.  As an added bonus we got to see some friends that were playing on the other team.  Karson and Kaya have been friends with Caden and Paige since birth.  They both went to Patricia's too and it was so fun to see them.  I felt like I was at a hight school game.  It had announcers and even a half time show.  It was a great time!

Next was Sam's birthday party.  Amy did a great job with his cake.  It was so cute! It is always a great time getting to see family and having everyone together.  I got to hold my cousins new baby.  He was so sweet and a little chunk!  Sam got a trampoline for his birthday and the kids all had a blast jumping on it.  I could have stayed all day I was enjoying it so much, but our day was not over.
We left from Amy's and headed to Chuck E Cheeses for a girls birthday party that is in Paige's class at school.  I have gotten to know her mom from PTO and they are a sweet family.  Her BFF cailyn was there also so she had a great time.
We ended the day with Caden's baseball game.  He did great even after such a long day.  Brayden was also playing on the next field so we got to watch him too.

It was a busy but great Satuday!

Just keep swimming!

Look who has made it a year!  Paige's fish is still alive and kicking.  Rainbow Flower seems to be doing well and I think he has grown.  Of course I change the water, but Paige is very good about feeding him and will panic if I let his fish tank get too dirty.

He sleeps on his little leaf and when I tap on the top of the tank he knows it is feeding time.  I actually read that betas are pretty smart fish and trainable.  I initially did not want to spend too much money on a fish, but since he made it a year we might celebrate by buying him a toy ring.  I saw them at petsmart and apparently they will learn to go thru the ring sort of like a game.

We had a lot of animals as kids.  Fish, birds, rabbits, hamsters, you name it we had it.  I would love to have more pets, but daddy says no!  Lol. So we will enjoy the ones we have.

Happy 1 year Rainbow!

Lunch time!

Today Jimmy and I were able to go eat lunch with the kids at school.  They don't have lunch exactly at the same time, but there is about 10 mins when their lunch times cross over. I love getting to see them in the middle of their day.  Hopefully this is the first of many lunch dates at school with my babies!
