Zoo Party

Saturday we attended my cousins little boy's birthday party at the zoo.  It was inside one of the pavilions and so adorable.  The cookies and cupcakes were so cute.  They brought out a snake and an armadillo for the kids to see and learn about.  All the kids loved it.  She also gave everyone a ticket to ride the carasel.  We ended up staying at the zoo after the party and had a great time.  The weather was overcast but it never actually rained so it was nice.  Happy birthday Benjamin!

Easter 2015

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25 KJV)

We had a full weekend celebrating our Saviors resurrection.  We started Friday with swimming and dying Easter eggs at Tami's house.  Then Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt and lunch at church.  Paige and I love to watch The Pioneer Woman and when her Easter episode aired we knew right away we wanted to make her rice crispy Easter eggs.  They we so fun to make and a big hit at the picnic.  We hid candy surprises in the middle and I think they will be a tradition to make from now on.  Sunday was a beautiful service at church followed by lunch and more egg hunting at Tami's.  A wonderful weekend with family focusing on what Jesus did for us!

Opening Day of Baseball 2015

It is baseball time once again!  We had a wonderful opening day this year.  Little League and Youth baseball combined this year to form Pony Basball.  It will be interesting to see how the season will go with the merging of the two leagues.  Different rules and personalities combining.  You could definatly see the difference in the opening day parade.  There we so many floats this year!  Lol. We walked away with more candy than we could carry!
We ended up losing by one point.  Caden has had a rough start to the season.  He is a left handed batter and with inexperienced pitchers who practice mostly with right handed batters he is just a target and has been hit numorous times.   Hopefully everyone will improve as the season goes on and he will get his confidence back.  Even with the loss the day was fun and we are looking forward to the rest of the season!  Go Brewers!
