50's Fun

Tonight was the kids sock hop at school. Everyone got dressed up in their 50's best and spent the evening doing the twist.  It was very cute watching all the kids dance and I was surprised that my own two where such jitter bugs.  Lol. Caden was even chosen to dance on stage.  Ha!  They did the twist, the WMCA and the chicken dance to name a few.  It was a great time to let loose and have some fun!

Happy birthday Brayden

Today we celebrated Brayden's 9th birthday at Ichi Ban.  We have been there before when the kids were little but I don't think they remembered it.  Everyone had a great time and the kids loved it.  Of course the food was great too.  It was a great time celebrating Brayden turning 9.  We love you Brayden!

Snow day?

Friday school was cancelled due to bad weather.  They called it a snow day, but unfortunately we did not get any snow just ice.  We still tried to make the best of it.  We stayed in our pajamas, drank hot cocoa and the kids found a way to still have some winter fun.  They broke all the ice on the trampoline and made there own little snow patch.  They would play outside until they could not take the cold anymore and then run inside to warm up.  It turned into a relaxing fun day even with no snow.
